FROM THE FAMILY
Hi, my name is Tommy Kishpaugh, and I am a wrestler from Hickory, North Carolina. I attend St. Stephens High School and train with Catawba Rasslin’. I have been wrestling for five years, and the sport has become a major part of who I am both on and off the mat. During the 2025–2026 wrestling season, I finished with an nearly perfect 54–1 record and earned second place at the North Carolina 6A State Championship at 106 pounds. Throughout the season, I was honored with several individual awards, including: Northwest Conference Tournament Most Outstanding Wrestler Northwest Conference Lower Weight Class Wrestler of the Year 6A West Regional Champion at 106 pounds I have also competed successfully in several major tournaments throughout my wrestling career, including earning two back-to-back first place finishes (2024 and 2025) in the 106-pound bracket at the Sergeant Mark Adams Invitational at Cary High School and winning the Best of the West at Ashe County High School at 106 pounds in 2025. Wrestling has taught me the importance of discipline, hard work, preparation, resilience, and mental toughness. Every practice and every match gives me an opportunity to improve, and I am constantly working to become a better wrestler, teammate, and competitor. My goal is to continue developing as a wrestler, compete at the highest level possible, and represent St. Stephens High School, Catawba Rasslin’, and my community with pride.
