Wrestling Background & Experience: I am a junior varsity wrestler competing in the 144 lb weight class with four years of wrestling experience. I currently wrestle varsity for my high school program. Prior to wrestling, I developed a strong foundation in combat sports through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which I have trained in since the age of six. This background has helped shape my mat awareness, scrambling ability, and comfort in high-pressure situations. Competitive Experience & Achievements: I have qualified for regional competition for the past two seasons and have consistently competed at the varsity level against experienced opponents. Wrestling has taught me discipline, mental toughness, and the importance of preparation, and I continue to focus on improving each aspect of my game every season. Wrestling Style & Strengths: I am a high-effort wrestler who thrives in scrambles and mat situations, using technique, conditioning, and persistence to create scoring opportunities. I pride myself on being coachable, resilient, and willing to work through challenging positions. My experience in both wrestling and BJJ allows me to adapt quickly and stay composed during matches. Goals & Aspirations: My short-term goals are to continue developing my skills, qualify for the state tournament, and compete at a higher level each season. Long-term, I hope to wrestle at the collegiate level, where I can continue growing as both a student and an athlete while contributing positively to a program.
