FROM THE FAMILY
Holden Jacobs | Class of 2028 Highland Park High School | Dallas, TX Weight: 165 lbs | Projected College Weight: 165/174 lbs I'm a competitive, offensive-minded wrestler with aspirations of competing at the NCAA Division I level. I'm a two-time District and Regional Champion, Texas 5A State bronze medalist (41–5 sophomore season), Texas Freestyle State Champion, Southern Plains Regional Champion, and fifth-place finisher at USA Wrestling Preseason Nationals. I also reached the Round of 16 at Fargo in 2026. I am also a 2-year captain of my high school team. I'm an aggressive, physical wrestler who likes to dictate the pace, wrestle from my offense, and pressure opponents. I pride myself on my work ethic, coachability, and willingness to compete against the best. I'm continually working to improve my technique, consistency, and mental toughness. I'm looking for a program with a strong wrestling culture, excellent coaching, and teammates who push each other to improve every day. Academics are equally important. I want a university that challenges me in the classroom while providing the coaching, training environment, and development opportunities to reach my full potential as a wrestler and student-athlete. My goal is to become an NCAA All-American while earning a degree from a university that prepares me for success beyond wrestling.
