FROM THE FAMILY
Wrestling has been a huge part of my life since I started in 8th grade. Through all the ups and downs like matches not going my way and tough practices,I always loved it. Wrestling has honestly shaped who I have been over the past 2 years of high school, The words “student athlete” means a lot to me more than it did a couple of years ago. Wrestling has changed my life on and off the mat. I used to be a kid who didn’t try in classes and thought that if i made 60s I would be fine, and now looking back at it makes me realize how much of a mistake it was to not try my hardest in some classes but wrestling changed that and made me realize if I want to compete at the highest level I have to compete in the classroom too,now have 93-100s in every single class and I don’t plan on changing that.
